Amp behind the seat.

I was wondering once you take out the back seat to mount the amp on the wall did everyone take out the covering or did you cut a hole in it so the amp fits with it on our what I would love to hear what everyone has done thanks. It is a 2006 F-150.

I take it you have an extended cab? On a regular and crew cab, there should be plenty of space. If your having to remove stuffing to put the seat back in, it's going to hold a lot of heat. It will probably conk out after a 20 or so minutes of operation depending on the class and output of the amp. If you do go this way, you will need to put in some ventilation, maybe something as simple as 1 1/2 PVC pipe fed by a 12v fan.
