i am getting ready to replace the glow plugs on my 03 f250 does any one have any recommendations before i start and maybe how hard and how long it will take. Also i think i might have an injector problem cause it blows pure white smoke out when i first start it up and after it heats up it still bucks a little and lacks a little power and i just changed the fuel filters.

Changing the glow-plugs is not that hard, but you have some fun on the passenger side. In my case it was "much more fun", because the glow plugs slide in between the rocker arms, and I dropped one of them in the head, so I had to pull the valve cover, and spend like an hour to fish the plug out.
You should count it like a whole day job, and if it's shorter, you'll be happy.
The white smoke makes me believe that it's not injector problem. Sounds much more like EGR cooler problem. White smoke is steam-water related, and leaking EGR cooler is what dumps water in the intake. Are you loosing any coolant? Is the white smoke goes away after start up?
Pull your EGR valve also to check it / clean it.
White smoke can also be unburnt fuel. The smell is what to go by. Coolant is a sickly sweet and fuel reeks like diesel and will cut your eyes out. Black smoke is fuel that isn't completely burnt.
