Ford 7.3 powerstoke
I have a 96 7.3 powerstroke turbo diesel and I would like to know how i can make this thing smoke more I bought a edge evolution performance chip for it and I also have a 3" straight exhaust but it just doesn't smoke enough for me so can anyone help me out

Welcome to FTE. It's a resistor that you wire into the ICP sensor that fools the computer and causes it to increase the pressure in the oil rails and the injectors to dump more fuel in the cylinders. Depending on what year model truck you have, some have been playing with 14.7k, 20k, and even 39k resistors, but since custom tuning has evolved, you're typically better off going with a chip like DP-Tuner or Total Diesel Performance for the 7.3 motors.

A 3" exhaust isn't gonna cut it my man! 3.5" at least, 4" or 5" is best. Bigger injectors, custom tuning... the list goes on. Go to the OBS PSD forum and do a search, there is tons of info in there.
