I'm an assistant manager at our local wendy's. It's one of the only jobs left these days. I hate the fact that people won't hire you for IT jobs if you don't have a 26k to 40k dollar piece of toilet paper to show them.

I work for a public utility, headquartered in Washington, DC.

Most days, I feel like my job description is "Baby Sitter".

I'm a leadman, typesetter, production coordinator, and consultant, to many internal and external customers, on various printing designs/layouts/subjects.

I started an auto repair shop and construction bizness about 13 years ago as I had went to GM school while in college and got my electrician license on the side while at IBM. After chasing corporate $$'s for 6 years post IBM I started a consulting biz and landed a slot with the feds. I parlayed that into a career conditional appointment and now it takes most of my time. So much that when my last employee moved away, I didnt rehire.

aint built a house in years. only work on cars on the weekends, but its sort of a dream job now, and sorta recession proof. (dept Treasury - boy are we busy)
