truck just shuts down?

ok so yeah im 20 years old with a 94 f150 300 shortbed reg cab

on occasion i screw around and slide the back end around in the wet weather we have been having lately

if i slide sideways and dont feel confident about it or almost lose it i tap the brakes

this immediately shuts the entire truck down

any thoughts?

is it just flooding it or is there some type of sensor or anything?

not sure why but i would advise you to stop doing that if you want to keep that truck and live to 30.

Sounds like your truck is getting scared and fainting.

But seriously make sure your battery is tight, it could be bouncing around and shorting out.

Beond that it's a guessing game and a good hunt good luck.

Well to rule out it only happening when fish tailing. Go for spin (NOT BRODY'S) and give it some then brake like your woul dfishtailing and see if it happens again. But I agree it is probably your battery bouncing.

If it's working now then you lucked out it's probably OK. May I suggest investing in an Optima battery though if ypur gonna chalange it, you can shoot those things and they still work.
