well reluctantly I sold my 4x4,its hard to believe that one day I had no interest and the next I had three people show up at the one time to look at it,only one I knew was comming and he brought cash and a trailer.so now the cash is freed up to go back to work on the 2wd for the winter.I'm going to put a couple more pictures of the 4x4 in my gallery.
yes I hated to sell the 4x4,specially after all the searching I did to find it.but I still have the 2wd and it should look and work good for next summer.I just finished cleaning out my garage from a few jobs I did this summer so I can get the old green machine back in there and start to tear it down and send some parts fo for powder coating.
well I don't mind selling things,I just hated to sell that truck, looked far and wide to find it and then have to give it up,but I think it went to a good home.
no the kid who bought it gets his licence next summer and wanted to have the truck completly gone over and finished for then.
hopefully he won't do like so many of us did and trash it in the first few months.
or bought and beat to death in the woods, there used to be lots of the 78/79 4x4's around here, but now they are few and far between.I saw a 69 M250 4x4 for sale in antigonsh not all that long ago, nice old merc 4x4.
Around here older vehicles have rusted away, in the last 15-20 years there`s been alot of salt and the more corrosive potash waste used on our roads in the winters. It`s very hard on vehicles, anything over 15 years old is starting to rust.
