I got the Super 40 swapped in yesterday for the cherry bombs. It was a dual in let dual outlet muffler. I deff love how it removed the slapping noise from the true dual, but god damnit, it aint loud enough now!! I now only have one more option to try, and that is to run the dual inlet/dual outlet cherry bomb extreme, frig me!
Changed the exhaust again? You spend alot of money on your exhaust, sucks you haven't the perfect combo yet.
You may be right going with the di/do cb. I also agree aerochambers are a good muffler, I don't think they're 150.00 though, more like 90.00? Although the aero's might be too quiet for your tastes.
How about Pypes violator's?, they are definatley loud, maybe too much cackle sound though?

Good Luck!
I know im wild! Exhaust has always been my #1 thing, yet I haven't been satisfied. I am an idiot, and should have just bought the dual in let dual outlet cherry bomb extreme, that would have solved the slapping noise and gave me the loud noise i starve for.
That video of you reving it in the neighbrohood is the loudest, I Have one Cherry bome extreme with shortys and highflows (turndown) and i get Slap and Pop not as bad.
Cherry bomb does have a bigger version of the extreme called the Pro im thinking of tring it.

You're right...I just realized I said Aerochamber...which is the holley brand. Got it screwed up with another "Aero-something" but I can't think of the name right now.
aero turbine maybe?an aerochamber sounds like a very mild sounding flowmaster on fors
Unfortunately, it isn't really the mufflers I am having a hard time, it is 100% my truck. These Ford motors don't make these mufflers rumble the way Dodges and Chevy's do sadly. That is why I am going to have to use the smallest muffler in the Cherry Bomb to make up for its inability to make a Flowmaster loud. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.
You bet I will have them up by next Monday if I get it in. I have a very good feeling about this set up, its going to be loud like I love it and fix the inconsistency in the exhaust banks. I am so frustrated I didn't think of this muffler over the Flowmaster. Err, anyway I am not even going to bother posting the videos of the Flowmaster bc it is so sad lmao.

Yea my uncle has a 2000 Dodge with a 4.8 (I think) and he has a Flowmaster 40 SIDO Thats it comming out the rear and when he starts it up it sounds like an old (Charger)

I'm sure it will be a good setup. I also really like the flowmaster 10 series, which is similar to a cb extreme. Only problem is they don't make them in any configuration other than si/so. The extremes sound good though and are priced right.

I agree great price. I have a guy on ebay who has it down to $65 shipped for a dual inlet/dual outlet C.B.E, not bad
Lol, no I haven't, I think I being to crazy to change out the Super 40 right now, money has been to tight after spending $3,000 on generators this weekend because of the ice storm, so i blame that for holding me up
