Help with this code

My 2003 Explorer, v-6 auto will start missing while driving -usuall starts at 50 mph. It is not all the time, sometimes worse than others. It is showing a 320 code. Local dealer has not had this before. Anybody know what the code means or where to start?

P0320 - Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
possibly CKP (crankshaft position) sensor or wiring.

If your dealer doesn't know what codes mean, find another dealer..

Tried another dealer. Largest Ford Dealer in East Texas. Sd. cleared code. New code came up for low fuel level. ( has full tank) Told me to try Techron fuel addative to clean up something in fuel system. I guess I will try to find another dealer. Anybody had a P0320 code?

scucci is correct, crankshaft position sensor, wiring, or pcm problem. Check the sensor and tone wheel on the crankshaft, and wiring to the sensor.

There is a 2 pin connector down near the CPS, it gets corroded down there, remove the CPS and unplug, clean and pack with a dielectric grease (seals water out).
