Aftermarket Headlights
eBay Motors: 1997 1998 1999 2000-2002 F150 EXPEDITION HEADLIGHTS BLK (item 310105473924 end time Dec-06-08 14:54:42 PST)=
I have been looking at the above headlights on Ebay, they seem well priced, has anybody changed them and if so have they had good or bad results..
When changed the new headights should be able to take a HID kit....

I dont have them but after looking at the auction... if you are looking to get a HID kit, this is the only thing i would be worried about... "(Modification May Require For Using HID Lighting System)." that is listed right in the auction

I wouldn't just put bulbs in the stock housings. They aren't built for it. Bad light dispersion.

I put these same lights on my friends F150 and they are really nice. The houseing was just as good if not better than stock. Halo & LED markers were easy to install. They put out a much better light than the stock ones as well.
I will say installing them us a PINA. They are too big to mount from the front through the grill. But the edge mounting tab on the grill is in the way to fit over the new lights. I ended up using a dremel and cutting those off so it would fit. I first tried this with an old grill I had. I found that it was securly fasened without the tabs.
These came with no instructions.

I didnt take any pictures of them because it wasnt my truck. I will be buying these after the holidays. They are the same but come with a full HID conversion.
