Sheldon......cameras or NOT. That hotel needs to pay for it. Don't even bother with the nimrod at the front desk, ask to speak to the manager. They should be level-headed enough that maybe you won't want to punch them lol. It'll work out bro. Don't do anything stupid and make it worse.....it's better then being carjacked with you IN the truck!

Well since it just happened to me, I will join you. If you can find a window, it is very easy to replace. The guys that did mine 2 days ago took about 10min. Since your on the road though it would be better to go to a glass shop. $125 here so hope it cheap enough up there. I feel your pain.

The thought allready crossed my mind to go key the sh17 outta my truck, every inch, from front to back, then add a new paint job into that deductable haha. I mean after all, there is no cameras back there!

Thanks Will.

It just felt good to come on here and vent.
Dude, what about the $250.00 pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses that were in the console and don't forget about that $500.00 GPS system you just bought last month, and although you know it was dumb, you left you 8 month old Cannon digital camera on the floor of the back seat because, with your bad knee, you didn't feel like carring it all the way up to the 17th? floor? Surely in you anger you didn't forget to mention that did you?
And for the one's that don't know, with times heading where they are, it ain't gonna do nothing but get worse.

X2 with Barry lol you can make a 500 dollar decutable. If I was you I would go in there and tell them that the deedee told you to park back there and you would be safe.

My question is why did they rip out the overhead console?

On our last fishing outing, we wound up staying at Roaches or Us Motel. Not really that bad, just old and a little rundown and certainly on the wrong side of the tracks. Most of the rooms there were occupied by fishermen and all of us were worried about security. Some of the other anglers stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because they were worried about their rigs. Well, three got hit the first night, lost everything out of the trucks and some stuff out of the boats. The hotel was seeing about their insurance helping with the cost because they were supposed to have secure lots. Don't know how it turned out, but I'd sure make them aware the you expect them to help you out or you will report them to William Shatner and let him make a commerial about that.

Sorry to hear about that Sheldon, just once i would like to catch the suckers, just once.Would defintly look into them being held liable, its on their property. Tell them your getting legal assistance to remedy the situation, sometimes they'll get scared and pay up.. Did you get a police report??

That is my style for sure I went and raised a little hell but they said they have warnings up all over the place and theres nothing they could do. I asked (a little rudely) the one guy why the heck he told me to park where there was no security? He didnt say much, he was just a short pudgy guy, and i was worked up a little!

Some scumbug had walked into my house and taken it. Luckily most everything else was upstairs and the dog wouldnt let them up there. She wont attack but she makes alot of noise. Maybe its time for her to have a little brother Rotty.

I would hav eliked to catch them too...

I guess it woldnt hurt to get someone to look into it for me, the hotel of course would never tell me if they would pay for it.

I didnt get a police report, yet. I called the cops and was told to come back tomorrow (today) if my truck could drive, but i have no idea where a cop shop is. Not sure if it would be worth it either...?

I guess I could go and do a burn out on the street, the cops might find me quick that way!

Be sure and call you insurance agent, there may be something they can do to help you out. Never hurts to ask. How's your therapy going.

What we have for vehicle insurance on my truck is the sask governmnt insurance, and they seem to do absolutly nothing for ya, till ya pay that 500 buck deductable haha. Typical eh!

Therapy is going.. well slow. I woke up this morning (after a sleepless night, worried about someone getting in my plastic window in my truck and swiping my in dash dvd player) and went to start working out, they checked my blood pressure, talked to me about blah blah this, and blah blah that, and got me on a bike for about 15 minutes then told me to go enjoy the rest of my day lol.

I swear I should write a book on how useless that crap has been for me!

Dude... that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear about all the bad stuff that has happened to you, Jorge and indebt.

As for the just once...i hear that. If it ever happened that way, that guy would ...have you ever seen the movie Pulp fiction? You know the part where the "Red Knecks are having their gay way with Marsellus Wallace? You know that guy in the box, the gimp? I would like to keep a thief in a box like that, not for sexual pleasure's of course, but to take my THIEF HATING, LIFELONG FRUSTRATIONS out on the *****...

ehemm..pardon me. I'm back now., but do you smell what I'm cooking here?

That's a bummer. The hotel really should pay for the stuff taken and the damages as they were the ones telling you were to park. You might want to tip them off that unless you get reimbursement, you will take legal action. Not fun but they should own up.

That sucks big guy. I remember when my truck got lifted. I wanted to throttle the guy. Probably a good thing I didn't find him. Probably would have ended up in jail.
