the autolite was toast when i got it , but it's the same pattern as all of on every late model ford i've had with a carb . he's got another of my ol' y blocks had this weird carb on it that looked like the float was up top of the carb .... it came outta the 56 f-600 i parted . was a 272 that ran . looked like it had a more normal bolt pattern to . i just scrapped , along with what was left of the sheetmetal off the 55 , a complete 239 y block , but she was LOCKED UP !!!!!!!!!!!! i couldn't even get the tranny off to keep it was so rusted up .

KUL!, I had already bought the petronix...along with the flame thrower...you guys have been loads of help...I think somtimes it would be cool to have a shop with some of you...but come to think of it we probably would talk most the time instead of get anything done
