Would it be difficult to convert an 85 Bronco from normal shocks to quad shocks?

Sorry I don't quite get this, you want to go to 4 shocks on each corner? Is this not way to many shocks? Sorry if I don't understand the question.

Quad shocks means 4 in the front. Two on each tire. It was an option you could get with the broncos. My 86 has them but the 85 I'm about to get does not.

you should just be able to replace the shock towers with the dual ones.

I used to have an '83 with quads up front. I remember looking under the fenders of two single shock Broncs of the same vintage, and IIRC all of the mounts and studs were there for the extra set of shocks. Of course, that was 14 years ago, so the memory might be fogged...
