Springy Wiper switch

Anyone have a springy wiper switch? If you do, then you know what I mean. Is it supposed to be like that?

Are you talking about when you press the **** in it springs back?

If so that is the washer pump switch, it's intergrated in the wiper switch. You press **** in, washer pump pumps washer fluid (or equivelent) to the windshield jets, etc... etc...

I got it working better last night. The **** was slipping on the shaft or something.

Yes, mine has a loose **** as well, from me taking it on and off over the years. Just spring the spring clip back into place will help hold it on tighter
