Accelerator pedal calibration?

A follow up on the calibration procedure posted by motown on #2...
I did the procedure, and finally had a chance to really do some testing of the results - and I'm a believer. I'll continue to evaluate it as I get into more situations where I would have had trouble before, but after doing the recalibration there certainly seems to be a remarkable difference in the "just off idle" pedal response - much smoother, more controllable. And it's cheap to do, also!
