More Power

I HAVE A 86 F250 WITH A TURBO CHARGED 6.9l. THE TURBO IS A ATS NON WASTEGATED, WITH 10 PSI BOOST. WHAT TURBO WOULD FIT FAIRLY EASY THAT COULD GET ME INTO THE 20 PSI RANGE. I HAVE CONSIDERED A INTERCOOLER IF I CAN GET ONE THAT WOULD FIT WITHOUT MAJOR SURGURY OR REMOVAL OF THE A/C. ANY IDEAS

According to people in the know on these engines, the 6.9 will not hold up to 20psi boost without cutting the tops of the pistons down to lower the compression ratio. You are pushing it now with 10 psi and your original head bolts. Any serious power from a 6.9 requires ARP head studs.

With 20 psi boost, you will also have to get the fuel injector pump reworked and hot rodded by someone who knows how to work on them, so it will push enough fuel into the engine. All that air will do you no good without adding fuel.
