I haven't had to buy one. I did replace the up pipes with the international bellowed up pipes. So I still have the Y pipe if you want it. Probably wound't get there as soon as you need but you welcome to it. Only down side this is where I put the EGT probe so it has a 1/4" hole in the driver side. PM me if you want it.

I think installing the bellows pipes was pretty easy, advantage is they allow for expansion. The heat expansion is what causes the doughnut rings to fail and start leaking. I ordered them from blackwidowdiesel.com

AND the bellowed up-pipes have no donut gaskets to leak.

Here's a write-up on installing the bellowed up-pipes. LINK

I also have the y-pipe, it's off an early 99.
Don't know if it will work on 99.5-03.
What year is your truck.

yes up and running!

Yes I went to my local dealership and got the part, but did anyone know there are 2 similr parts for the 7.3? there is a difference in the bolt pattern for the up pipe flanges. anyways I have my 4" welded in i bought from VR6nutt, thats the one he was selling for an Excursion. well about 6 foot of extra pipe in there and I got er dun. I also installed a boost guage while i was at it and now I have the 4" tube to eliminate my crankcase brether from the intake tract. it isn't much louder and i haven't driven it over the road long distance yet to avg out milage but i might soon enough on a trip from Duluth, MN to sunny El Paso, TX for the Army. hmmm mebbe i need to get somefancy security system in it or go looking for it south of the border......
thanks for your help out there even though it didn't come through overtly, I read all the cool stuff you guys and GALS do and it makes me want to do the same.
