trac bar dilemma

trac bar dilemma
I have a rough country leveling kit on my truck that i put on a year or two ago and when i bought the kit it didn't come with a track bar, but now the kits come with one... Is this something i should look into getting? If they added it to the kit it must be for a good reason why would they add it? would this help correct my trucks drivers side from sagging(https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...ks-lean.html)?

I just put on the RC 2.5" leveling kit, which ended up being closer to 4" since my springs were so tired. The kit came with a relocation bracket for the trac, but not a new track bar. Without that bracket, my trac bar would have been way too tight and had constent tension on the driver side of the frame. If yours is similar and you have to jack the FRAME up 4" just to get the trac bar off, then yes I would get a bracket or longer trac bar. I think RC sells just the bracket for like $75.

it was really tight when i put it on i had to use bottle jacks and come-a-longs just to get it in. what do you mean by you had to jack the frame up 4 inches? to get the trac bar off?
