Banging Noise
Took about a 200 mile trip today, and on the way out to the destination everything is ok. I was about 2 miles from the shop to put the truck back inside and hit a man hole cover/bump and the truck made a loud bang. It semed be comming from the middle of the crew cab on the drivers side. I was wondering if there is anything specific to look for. Now it may be due to the fact that I washed it yesterday and only let it sit in the shop for about 2 hours before I swapped trucks and brought it home. I am wondering if maybe that I got something wet and it froze, which seems to make sense in my mind. Oh well just venting a little cause I am hoping nothing is wrong.
I do have the OEM Rancho branded shocks on it maybe its time that I upgrade to the Bilstien leveling kit with shocks and give the truck an early Christmas present.
On a side note my first long trip with the SCCTx3 from Innovative was great. The mpg and calculated is up some from 15.4 to 18.3, thats at 76mph most of the way and a little city driving mixed in. Trans seems to have relearned and all is good...except for the bng at the end of the trip.

Like I said if you are getting it then good for you. I am not running an economy tune though. I am running a street tune. My meter on the dash says 21.5 but thats not true.
