Slow forum

Why is it this forum takes soooo long to load a page? I can literally go to another forum and open 2 sometimes 3 pages before this place has opened it's first. Sometimes I can go and make a sandwich and come back before the page opens and then sometimes I just end up closing the thread before it even open's. I have no problem like that at any other forum I visit so I know it's not my computer.

That's odd. It opened right up for me, but sometimes other forums load real slow for me almost like computer froze. Not sure what is going on

I have the same problem, the top banner and ads seem to load pretty quick, but the rest of the page takes forever to load.

IDK, I'm not having any probs now. The computer I'm on now would not even access this site for about the past week. I tried it this morning and it worked. I had had no probs using this computer prior to that, except some times very slow. When this site was not working, this puter would still work with anything else I was doing. Strange.

Ding ding... Exactly what I get, the banner will load up and then it just seems to take forever to load the rest of the page. Making a sandwich might of been stretching it but I can open at least 3 pages elsewhere while waiting on FTE.

I was having trouble for the last week or so - my replies would hang, I couldn't edit posts, couldn't rep, etc.

I upgraded to Firefox3 and I no longer have those problems.

I've not had any of the problems you all are discussing. Page loads as soon as I request it.

As a side note I do have Firefox.

It takes extra time for the spyware thats hidden to download into your computer. All forums have hidden spyware.

I have 4 tabs set up as my homepage with Firefox. FTE is always the first to completely load.

I got tired of IE crashing, loading slow, or just hanging, so I installed Firefox and have had no more problems.

You think of this comment yourself or did someone help you out?

I may have to try Firefox.

I went to Firefox a few weeks ago after a suggestion by my son and then SteveBricks from SoCal. IMO it is great, easier to use, and looks good too. Haven't used IE since.

Dont believe me . Just clear your computer of all cookies and turn it off. Then turn it on and open any forum and then close the forum. Next look at the cookies and who knows what else that have infected your computer,Case made. Being rude isnt nice.
