Only 2 alternators, gas tank strap, clamps on exhaust man. flanges and to many to count oil and lube changes. She has a fair bit of rust, pictures in gallery.
I am right around there, in the low 240K mile range and am having my first real issue with the torque converter other than that 1 alternator, a set of U joints, front rotors and rear wheel seals are all that has needed to be replaced. I was trying to figure out how many sets of tires I have gone through the other day and it is around 7 or 8, also counted oil changes once and it is around 70.
I have tried to change the oil every 5000km so that would be 79 oil changes so far she is due for her 80th now. I've also replaced universals twice, rear axle seals, Starter positive lead to battery, and brakes, rotors, caliper mounting brackets, fronts more than rears. etc, etc, etc,
Im at 227,000 miles on my truck, but the speedo has been incorrect ever since the org. tires worn out. My buddy put on 265/75 after the org. tires worn out, so that would put it over 250,000 miles.
Since I have owned it(around 190,000) I have put on ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, starter, and other little stuff.
I have the same Truck and Engine. Not to far behind you and it still runs like a new Truck. It's good to know they have that much life in them. I'm going to keep on driving mind untill the big bang. I bought it new and I'll tow it to the junk yard when I'm done.
