U-Bolt Brackets (see pic) help

The individual who put the U-bolts on this truck last put them on backwards and now they are damaged and even seperating on a couple sides.
I bought new U-bolts as existing ones are bent because of bad installation, but I cannot locate Ubolt brackets, even after doing Google searches. If someone help save me some time and help me find new brackets, I would be grateful. see pic of botched installation.

Umm.....yea! I'd get replacements brackets from the bone yard. And no, never reuse u-bolts, they can only be tightened "stretched" one time.

What a tool! I'd call around some auto parts store, possibly a Ford dealership if you come to a dead end. I would not reccomend getting U-bolts from a junkyard.

Yes exactly, thank you quicklook2.

Myself I prefer to have my u bolts made to my measurement at a local truck/trailer spring shop, rather then buy them at a auto parts individually on blister card packs.

Cheaper, and come with better "nuts".

Notice how the PO had stacked two nuts to get a good bite, nuts from the spring shop are near that tall in one "nut".

Install em evenly tight, drive it a hundred miles or so and then crank em down tight again.....

I've ordered from these guys before: the stuff seemed good and shipped fast.

U-bolt Kits for Trailer Axles - ABC Trailer Parts

What diameter is the ford 8.8 axle housing? get the right U-bolts for it.

(I measured with a tape. and came up with 3 1/4" , so you might not be able to get the right stuff from that site: call them and ask tho)

Heres the right stuff
