Is anyone else getting a code thrown after they take out there AIH? I did the mod proper, what with the resistor and all, even put heat shrink over it and put it in a wire loom and everything, anyhow now that it's gotten cold up here, it started throwing a code for it, I know it's no big deal but I just hate seeing codes on the ole' girl, not to mention the fact that it has my curiosity up because the whole point of the resistor was to solve that problem, so is it just me or is everyone else that did the mod also getting a code?

I used a 470 ohm 1/2 watt resistor w/ 5% tolerance. It's what I was "told" to use on this site, I forget right now which link or page the mod was on, but it was off this site and the one that everyone was using. Did you already order your resistor, if not let me know I'll send ya one of mine, got 4 left.

me either, I'll be interested to see if everyone else that used the same size resistor is having "problems" or not, I do remember some discussion about the right size, there were some trial and errors there for a while, but I'm pretty sure that this 470 ohm is what everybody finally agreed would make it work o.k. I'd like to hear more about that IDM resistor mod? Not to hijack my own thread, but what's that one all about?
