I have to agree that is a beautiful truck. I don't care that much for the paint though. In my opinion it's not an $80,000 truck but then again I have never seen a truck that I thought was an $80,000 truck.
BTW, where did you get the cat picture. That is hillarious!
I got it in an e-mail and cropped it out of the picture. The cat is definitely not happy swimming, eh?
99vert,
I didn't notice the bowtie on the valve cover until you mentioned that. I know for Ford you can put a turned down 400M crank in a 351 block and get a small block Ford 383. That was what I assumed it was without opening my eyes.
Wow...Alot"a scratch and hours in that one...Is that a Foose sticker in the back glass?.. . . Might print me up some of them and throw some of the local stuff on e-bay..LoL!
It is a nice looking truck though, shows what can be done if the time and care(=cash) is put into an effort. While most of us don't have the skills to do this level of work...maybe "some" of us do, but "I" certainly don"t...It gives us a good excuse to stay out in the garage and "try" our hand at our version....Aim High !!
I like it all as well but not completely struck on the paint sceem, to much like the stock market. Certainly alot of glitter, you can certainly see why they are trailer queens though , who would want to polish all that crome.
I think it looks wonderful but it belongs in a permanent show or in a closed trailer for transport. I like something I can drive. Chevy engines belong in Chevys. Ford engines belong in Fords and so on. This Chevy engine is in my sons 1972 Nova street car/dragster. I am afraid to ride in it much less drive it on the strip. I am really not afraid but it is awesome
that trucks too nice to do anything with other than look at it. I think it's a great looking truck and I love all the work they've done on it, but like mentioned above the clean up after a day of driving wouldn't be worth the trouble. You'd have to have a lift just to get under and polish all that crome.
I've been to that place. They have some awesome vehicles there, and they are all for sale. They had a Foose built 34 Ford when I was there, pure SEX! (for 110K...).
