The coils should say where each wire goes. The cylinders are numbered 1-4 front to back on the passenger's side and 5-8 on the driver's side. Two wires from each coil should go to the opposite side of the engine.

Remember, left and right, in Ford's parlance, refers to directions while seated in the drivers seat, not staring at the engine while standing in front of the truck.
