That's an awesome question and i don't have the answer! But i'd like to know also, NumberDummy will save the day though. I'm putting on power brakes in the spring so i don't need both feet. Gotta deliver a load of bark tomorrow on a steep hill and i'm not looking foreward to it.

If you use the M/C and booster off a 1973/79, you must use the brake pedal and bracket the truck came with, you got the parts from.
There you go again, preaching that danged ol parts book religion cheet. Which part book did that come from from??? That is absolutely false information.
With a little modification, like drilling a hole they can be mixed and matched. I still have the original 3 spd brake pedal with added C6 tranny and power brake setup from a 76 donor in my 66, and have helped with many others.

You are correct, and I was wrong, as I was thinking of this:
I should have said that from 1973/79, you need the correct brake pedal (and clutch pedal if applicable) from the donor truck the M/C & booster came from, when adding power disc brakes.
