Look for tint i'd post pictures but i'm at school and i can't provide pictures but if money's an option look for headlight and tail light shades instead of the lightning headlights. also look into tinting the windows for sure, limo looks best, i wouldn't mess with the colored or highly reflective stuff myself. also a good looking set of wheels and tires. another thing that could make your truck badass as well as set it apart is a nice design or pinstripe all around ya know, make it personal, make it yours.
this is seperate and i dont know if anyone mentioned this but for your eblems. they might look like a casual black like errbody elses. take a acetone and put them on some cotton swabs and take the paint off the emblems to make them a silver chrome appearance, it adds that unique factor. or if you want to do something that's out there but might require some look, go no emblems and if you want have the f-150 pinstriped on there.
definately anything you spend money on the appearance of your truck though will make it look better but what is a truck that is all show but no go, a real truck has stuff under the hood as well so...it's up to you.
got the money? go nuts there handshaker.
I dont know if i'm the only one, but I wouldnt reccommend those light shades. The lights that come on these trucks are bad enough without the help of those shades.
As far as acetoning factory emblems go, there are 2 different results you will get depending on the year of your truck. The 97-98s when you acetone the emblems they turn into a black chrome appearance, and the 99-03s when you acetone them they turn chrome. Look at my gallery to see my acetoned badges.

actually i want to get a supercharger in the near future! but right now all i got is a superchips and exhaust on it.
One of the little tricks I used on my 01 that people notice, but can't figure out what it is, was to put a rear door handle from an Expedition on the passenger's side. The Expy rear handles don't have a key hole in them. People will stare at the door forever trying to figure out what's different.
About the light shades that's up to you. I believe they are cheaper than the lightning lights. the lights are bad but the shades snap on and off the ones i own do so anyway if there's bad weather then take them off and what not. and the acetoned badges i only know that mine turn chrome looking whoever thought about that is very clever and he should be given mad props, probably an accident but still.
have fun with the supercharger. i was told once that adding one although providing great power and get up and go will have negative effects on the drivetrain and block. i could be wrong but that's what i heard.

yeah it is, you just have to get a really good tune and do not run too much boost.
My thoughts on some exterior mods would be to do a de-badge, and paint the lower fog light valance to color match the rest of the truck. I have tinted out my rear tail lights and added lightning headlights + corners as well as clear fogs and lights behind the grill. Also I color matched the honeycomb grill and painted my Ford emblems black. My rims have powder coated black spokes to add the black out look I'm looking for.

There is a cheap mod to enhance your 4R70W tranny that could handle a low boost supercharger no problem, it is called a "jmod" and it is just as simple as enlarging the seperator plate holes to allow more fluid pressure with your transmission shift points.
I'm patiently waiting for a lightning to show up a junkyard also.
Does Greg make one for the 4R70? I thought he only did the 100, but I've haven't been on his site since I bought mine. Two thumbs up. It was the best money I ever spent on my truck until I installed the panhard bar.
oh i forgot to add, since this was originally about customization ideas, the taillight and headlight shades are illegal. however, i have been pulled over 3 times and all 3 times was not for the shades, just throwing that out there.
