Compared to what. It should not make any differance weather your hubs are locked or not.

What tires and how much pressure.......... Any load in the box........

I would say the 84 4x4's were a little harder suspension from what I remember.... The newer trucks have been softened even with the load capability increased. I find mine 93 runs hard unless I have about 300LBs in the box....... so I have a small toolbox and a cap on it.

The older trucks were more for working than comfort.

I remember when picking your date up in a truck was not a cool thing like it is today.

One thing to look at, how much clearance between the front axle stop and the bump block on the frame?

Other that the shackle bushings being worn out on the front axle, the main reason it rides rough is you can put about 1500 pounds in the back with no problems.

i no some of it is def from my suspension bein set up for work i got an add a leaf in the back i was told although not sure how reliable that the previous owner hauled a 2000 f250 mega cab without the back saging at all
if i put softer shocks on it like ranchos wood that help? either those or rough country because jcwhitney has a good deal on the rcs
