Solid Ground

I just got word of this, i am in complete shock still a few minutes after...

07.12.73-11.30.08

Jet was gunned down to his death Friday, November 30th along with an employee while attempting to retrieve some 165,000 chickens from a debtor. Seven others survived the shooting. That's the gyst,

From our paper,

"...36, a native of New Jersey, John is survived by his wife Erin and three children, boys, ages 6, 10, and 13. John precedes his parents, John Edward jr, and Carol of Bossier City, a brother, Jack of Little Rock, a sister, Lisa of Glen Rock, PA, and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews...
loved by many, missed by more..."

This was sent to me by a local guy in AR.

I wanted to meet this guy so badly, i never will get the chance. I always warned him his line of work would get him in trouble one day. You will be sorely missed Jet.. RIP

WOW.....that's terrible. Really sad leaving such a big family behind. I don't know if anybody here knows Jet's family, but let them know they are in our prayers if you do. R.I.P.

He was down in Alabama at the first of Oct. and called me to line up a couple of CDLs to help him retrieve a couple of Semis. It worked out that the debtors surrenderd the trucks, and he didnt need us. I really wish I could have met him, seemed like the most stand up guy you've ever talked to on the phone.

Jet, you will be missed, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Roll some coal at that big track in the sky my friend.

Devastating news. RIP Jet.

This is a sad commentary on the desperate times we are living in. Goes to show just how muderous this down turn in the economy really is.

Someone killed two people over 350,000 CHICKENS??

It's not like they were stealing them.

May the jury rule wisely.
