Bumper Laws?
Just got off the phone with Va State Police to find out the height of the legal bumper laws and they told me 28 inches. My 77 250 seat with 5 1/2 suspension and 3 inch body. My rear bumpers seats below 28 but the front doesn't. Only way the get it in the legal limit is to take off my body lift.

What size tires do you have? If your just trying to pass inspection, you can just get a used set of crappy tiny tires that will lower the truck, and put the big ones back on. I dont think they'd pull you over for it.
Primary rig is:
95' F-150 EB 300/6 5 spd with 4" Superlift, MSD, Ram Air, Gibson Exhaust, and coming are some BFG MEATS
Then theres:
88' F-250 Superduty 351 + c6
92' Thunderbird 3.8L V-6 FOR SALE!
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 and a
3 spd column shifter baby.
The newest addition to the Ford family is a 99' Mustang GT 4.6L
Primary rig is:

Bumper Laws?
Inspection station said they'll pass it no matter how tall the bumpers are as long as the suspension is right. (no blocks in the front) My truck is a f-250 all leaf springs in the front. Some which are short in length which could be concidered as blocks but aren't. I called both inspection station and state police. State police said 28 inches to the bottom of bumper. What would the fine be if I were to get a ticket I wonder, I didn't ask him that. Later David

Well, how far are you over the 28 inches? Unless you're over by alot i wouldn't worry to much about it. People drive down the road with illegal stuff all the time.
