Rough idle

Rough idle
Hello Everyone
When I got in my vehicle today and started it it seems to be running really rough. My neighbor did some type of test and got this error. P0402 EGR flow excessive. It ran just fine 2 days ago. Its a 1999 Expedition with a 4.6 engine with about 72k miles on it and so far no problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Well when the hubby got home he took off the top hose and gave it a little bop.... that seems to have worked..... probably a piece of something in there or he knocked the gremlin off it lol....... anyway it seems to be working ok for today..... THANKS TO YOU BOTH for your reply
