weak links
i have a 95 150 with a 4.9 5sp and 4x4. 127,xxx miles. i put a 4" body lift and 35"s on it. trying to figure out the weak links in the drivetrain and suspension and such for mudding and general off roading. im puting a skid plate to protect my tie rods due to the fact that i have bent 2 of them from running into rocks or stumps. also have a brush guard and heavy duty bumpers to protect the exterior. have decent u joints and a heavier duty clutch also when i installed the clutch i replaced the slave too. what should i be worried about breaking on the trail? anything different than most trucks? is this combo prone to any problems on the trail?

I am not a fan of the 8.8 rearend. In perticular the fact that they are a C-clip design and can just fall apart leaving you in a ditch as your tire and axle roll by. Invest in a 9" or upgrade to full floater stuff.
