These are some great prices on these Mustangs.
While I`ve seen a couple of Shelbys, Roush Mustangs and a half dozen or so Lightnings in Saskatoon it would certainly be nice to see alot more of them. This fall I saw a red Roush super charged F150, an awesome truck.
I've always been a fan of the Bullit Mustang, more so the original, but I also like the current Bullit. One of the few retro cars that I wouldn't mind having in my garage.
I'm hoping the KR500 stays in River City. It would be great to see it out and about, but only during the summer, spring and fall. No winter driving I hope, with all the salt we have here.
50K is a lot of money for sure, but while I don't know the list price on that KR500, I bet that a low mile one in 25 years would sell for a good price at something like a Barratt-Jackson Collector Car Auction.
I think the KR500 is a good bet to be one of the few collector cars from our era.
$50K is a very good deal for a Shebly GT500 and if it is a KR it's a even better price. Dealer's in the States are asking anywhere from $100K's to $140K' for a KR.
I wonder if these prices are still up way up there on these cars with the US economy tanking and alot of jobs have been lost this past summer.
Too bad our Canadian dollar has fallen so bad, now it`s not really worth buying in the US any more.
That`s a good plan and also helps our economy if you instead buy Canadian goods.
Remember that anything shipped in from the US will cost you more though you might not know it.
