BFG tire prices

I just came back from my local tire dealer and got a price of 690 for a set of 4 BFG Mud Terrain KOs. I was wondering if any of you think that is a reasonable price, i've done some shopping and thats the best i've gotten so far.

If thats including tax-mounting and balancing, sounds good to me.
Im in the same boat, Im trying to find the cheapest price for the BFG 35"-12.50's, so far it's 177 from an on line store, Ill still need to cough up for mounting and balancing.

$690 = $172.50 PER TIRE Still cheaper than I can find them just to buy!!!!

Well, after 20 minutes on hold with National Tire and Wheel, this is the price I got: $782.20 for 35"x12.50"x16.5".
Thats $195.55 per tire, shipped to my local.
Then Im guessing at another $40 to $50 for mounting and balnacing.

The search continues!!

yeah, 690 is with tax...balancing mounting and new valve stems. I already have valve stems on the rims, do i really need new ones with new tires, why?

Probably not, but Im sure the tire palce will tell you that they cant gaurantee your tires unless you buy the stems. Just another way to get 5 bucks from ya.

What size tires are ya getting? Sounds like a pretty good deal as compared to the prices Im getting.

I would just spend the $5 for the stems because if you do have a problem it might save you a big headache down the road. Just my $0.02

32-11.50R-15 are $128 to $139 at NTW, before shipping, then you would have to figure about $40 for mounting and balnacing.

Well after searching and searching, this is what I came up with.

NTW wants: $782.20 for 35"x12.50"x16.5".
Thats $195.55 per tire, shipped to my local

My local tire dealer wants $812 but this includes mounting and balancing.
He said for him to mount and balance a tire that I bring in is $20 a wheel.

So it looks like, Ill just get them from my local dealer, let him order them and let him put them on.

Done Deal,

Went to the tire place and slammed the cash down on the counter.

Final bill, $816.88

4 BFG MT KM'S mounted and balanced.

Of course I have to wait untill next Wednesday to pick them all up.
Hated to leave my new wheels there, but the 16 year old , zit faced kid said he would lock them up.

He had a tie on so he's trustworthy...right???

Let ya know when I bolt them on...
