I have read that the Ford 99+ Superduty trucks have the same rear bumper's as the Excursion. Is this true? Can anyone confirm if its a direct bolt on? Are the brackets the same?

My bumper is looking a little rough and its been very difficult finding a used good condition excursion specific bumper.

 

yes they bolt right on. many have even put the new the new 08 super duty bumper on their excursions.

 

yes the new superduty 08 will fit. It will be snug up to the barn dorrs. With the old bumper style therre was a space between the bumper and dorrs but now there is no gap. I did this I like the look.

 

Can you post pics of the new vs the old?
