Water runs down behind the mirrors attached to the door and is ruinning the paint. Is there replacements for this? What about the nice rusty bolts that even make it look even more nice? This has been an issue on all my trucks.
What type of mirror? I know on my little mirrors there was a gasket. I used one off of a truck I found in junkyard. You can probably also make some from gasket material.

I really want new bolts too. These were stock and behind the mirror on the door.
I replaced all my bolts and nylon washers with stuff from the hardware store.
I used stainless steel bolts since the whole rest of the mirror is too. :)
I still have my old bolts and acorn nuts, some areas have a thin film of rust
where the original zinc coating sacrificed itself away.
I ground off all the numbers etc off the tops of the new bolts then "polished"
them up with a 600 grit de-burring wheel. Looks better than new IMO. :)
Noticed the other day the nylon washer's edges were looking sun bleached
already, they've been on there ~15 years now tho. ;)
I'm going to be wanting new gaskets for my mirrors too.
