1978 460 long block build-up
i just bought a 1978 remanufactured 460 long block. here is the link to the site:

What do i need to get to complete the build up. i know i need and intake, carb, oil pan, timing cover, valve covers. what else? please be specific. a link to some kind of list or checklist would be great also. This is my first build. thanks..

Does it now have a 428 or a 429 in it.
If you have a 428 and are changing to a 460 you need a different transmission or bell housing.
If you are changing from a 429 it is he same as the 460 and all parts will transfer.
