My '64 still has the original factory springs with overloads on the rear... front suspension is '76 Volare... thought about a 4 bar link suspension, but don't really want the hassle of the fitment and welding, etc... found a cpl of places to get a monoleaf rear springs to replace the stock ones.. easy remove and replace job... anyone try this setup or know of anyone that has?
What is a monoleaf? A single extra thick leaf in place of multiple leafs? If I recall correctly, I once peeked under the rear of a C**vy Astro van and I think it had a single leaf on each side.
With a 351 if you go to mono leafs when you spin those tires the back axle is gunna jump around like a gorilla on amphetamines . Thats my 2 cents
