I have 2 questions I have a nova multimeter new glowplugs show 0 resistance the most of the ones in my motor show 0 a couple show .3 to .5 one shows no connection also will not light the test light(bad).
Should they show .5 to 1 ohm is my meter not good enough.
seems like I read where some of you use antisieze on the GP's is it safe to use.
On my meter the new ones I have show 0 resistance so it must be my meter my son somehow lost my snapon and I loned my fluke to somebody and dont remember who.
It has been starting fine didn't know there was a bad one and sure enough it was the last one on the passenger side under the turbo Can't never be easy.
Checked my gp's today because I just bought a 93 with a 7.3 and the WTS light comes on for a couple seconds and then I hear the relay clicking under the hood. Most of the Gp's tested at 1.3 to 1.6 ohms does this mean that there bad? Seems like a difference of a half of ohm would not matter much. Thanks for any help.
