Altenator Problem
For some reason my altenator doesnt work. I put two different remand ones in and it dont charge the battery. connections all seem good. I dont know where to go from there. I didnt drive it for a while then all of a sudden its not working. What things should I be checking out? Its a 91 f150 302

Did you bench test the old alternator (and new ones too)? How about testing the battery? You should test both of those critical components then go from there. FYI, if the battery is not fully charged your alternator will fail quickly. They don't really recharge the battery the same way they did in the olden days.

yeah i had the old one tested, the machine wouldnt even run it and then they grabbed a new and ran fine but i went back the next day to buy it. that didnt work so I took it back and got another one. Battery is fine im pretty sure cause I use it in my mustang with no problems. Ill test the wires, see what comes up with that
