Ive had my front end apart about ten times trying to get my 4wd to work and stay working. The real problem is my stubb shafts not being tight. they move so much they come out of my "premium Warn" hub assemblies and then they have so much slop that the u joints touch the spindles. I started with new wheel bearing assemblies. That worked for a week or two. then the inner bearing in those broke and fell out. Back to the same problem. Then I got new warn hubs because the brass piece in the old ones was cracked in pieces. And I took the Wheel bearing assemblies back and got new ones. Same problem. So then on another post on here someone said that the dust guard/shild on the end of the axle was sposed to help hold it up. My dust guards are gone.
So I need some help here. I'm tired of being pulled out by three toyotas and a chevy. These trucks get stuck in wet grass without 4wd. Even with new mud tires. Its sad. So If anyone has a diagram of the front end that would help. And the part number for that inner wheel bearing. Any ideas? Ive got this weekend to get it figured out.
