Progressive erractic performance.....At wits end
Progessive Erratic Perfomance Extremely Erratic... At Wits End

Last week I went from having a code p0671 1 thru 8 glow plug curcuit issue, so I replaced the gpcm, Now the truck will barley go in reverse, it acts as if its running out of fuel or something AND now when I go to turn off the ignition the engine continues to run, with the key off and out ! however the electrical does turns off (radio, power windows etc) SO I replace the ignigion switch,figuring that was the culprit, that didnt solve the turning off problem so I must now pull the fuse for the ignition in order to stop the engine. It still runs like crap I mean CRAP ... Now i get a p0308 cylinder 8 misfire, 303 cylinder 3 misfire, 301 cylinder 1 misfire and p1211 injector control pressure above/below desired and I am still getting the glow plug codes for cylinder 7,5,and 1 ... I have tested all the relay switches I know of and they all test good, I drained all my fuel from the tank and relplaced it with fresh incase it was somehow tainted. It does however sound and run excellent if excellerating and going 60 miles per hour or so, it will cruise along, but any slower and it hacking and choking wanting to stall out and you can forget about reverse.... it hates that gear.. I need advice extremely badly!! Can the electrical system somehow cause all these wierd issues, and if so where do I go to check it out... What color CPS are you running? The grey one is known to mess with cyl 8 and another one or two on occasion. Not very familiar with the ICP, but it sounds like there might be low pressure at lower rpms. Have you checked the UVCH connectors both inside the VC's and out? Reverse almost sounds like the TC isnt unlocking. I remember Mark K mentioning something about why it would do that only in reverse, but cant remember exactly what. Anyways....here's a BUMP to the top.

Also check the main wiring harness that goes over the top of the driver's side valve cover.. It has been know to rub, exposing wires.. Use a small mirror to see under the harness..

Wow now thats some serious problems right there, you could have some nicked wires in your main harness or your UVC harness that is causing the problems. I'll atleast give you a bump.
