down pipe?

Ive talked my father in law into replacing his stock downpipe. Which one do we need to order to fit a stock exhaust. He still has the muffler and cat. We are looking for something bolt in, although welding is an option. We are just going for simplicity. Ive talked him into a 6637 intake as well. His was toasted in the starting fluid incident. Maybe my PMS is starting to rub off on him

Well I went by thursday and listened to it run. He wanted to put mine and his side by side and compare. I didnt hear a thing wrong with his! Mine actually clatters louder than his. He siad it had gotten quieter and quieter since the other day when he told me about the possibility of the engine damage. Im thinking it may of been just because it sat for several days in the cold without running. When he finally got it started it took a bit for the oil to get back up top and flowing good? It could also be that he is just parinoid now? I never personally heard it knock, so I dunno.

Did he change the oil after that?
Might have had some piston slap due to bad lubrication?
