you really should get longer brake lines for any amount of lift you get. but you might not, one of my friends didnt put longer brake lines on for his 4" lift and hes fine.
You probably do, my 95 needed new ones, front and rear. I recommend skyjacker's stainless braided lines, they will improve your braking. I was very happy with them, i can stop better. Got them at 4wheelparts.com

I don't know if you "NEED" the longer brake lines but I agree that you should go ahead and get the longer brake lines and would recommend the stainless steel braided ones. If not for the length...buy them for better braking. Goodluck.
I got a much better braking distance, i'd say that the lines decreaced my stopping distance from 60 mph by 20-30 feet. The pedal is much firmer and the truck stops great, another thing that radicaly helped my braking were cross drilled rotors from summit racing.
go into the off-road forum and look for the posting named "lift kits on a TTB and brakelines" I have done this modification to alot of fords and other lifted trucks and jeeps for off-roading and for articulation reasons and you can achieve all the flex you want without tearing out a brakeline and you can do it yourself for alot cheaper than a complete set of extended brakelines.
