i am again having trouble with my slidng rear window
i have a regular cab 94 f150 with the sliding rear window
i love the versitility of the sliding window but i have went through like 5 latches in a year and a half
i would hate to put a solid window in but i may have to, it gets cold in pa and when there is snow on my tonneau cover the back window is cracked and its like a snowstorm
did ford make any metal latches for these windows?
Yes, they make metal ones. I have seen them in aftermarket windows. or you can make your own, friend made one out of latch hardware from home depot, works great!
Sorry, no i dont. But try any local MFG/dealers of truck canopys, i managed to get one from a canopy dealer and mod to fit. most of the front window latches on canopys are metal and can be modified (mounting) to work well. also check ebay.
