66' F350 Front Shock Source?
Does anyone have a good source for front shocks to replace the old ones on my 66' F350? There are planety of options for the rears out there (must of had a wider application than the fronts). I've bothered Monroe and Gabriel, but neither makes the fronts anymore. I want a gas charged shock as that's what I put on the rears.
I've been told I could use a generic shock by taking off the old ones and getting the measurements; fully compressed and fully extended, but I'd rather buy something that was designed for the truck.

1957/66 F350 Front Shocks
These are the only shocks listed, the part numbers were never updated.
B7AZ18124B .. Front Shock-Regular Duty (Motorcraft AB5)
Fits: 1957/66 F350 / 1961/66 F500/700
No Ford or obsolete parts vendor has any.

C1TZ18124J .. Front Shock-Xtra Duty (Motorcraft AX72A)
Fits: 1957/66 F350 / 1961/66 F500/700.
Ford later went by the Motorcraft part numbers only.
Don Sanderson Ford in Glendale AZ has 14 of AX72A = 623-842-8600.
No one else has any!
