Rear View Mirror Question

Hey all-

I got my truck back in September of this year, and i love it. I love this site, ive fixed several minor things, and im hoping to get 1 more fix...
My truck (00 F250 CC XLT 4x4 V10 122k miles) has a rearview mirroe installed that has the place for a compass/ thermometer?? there are mo wires going to the mirror, but a hookup on the mirror itself. just wondering if i can hook it up, or was this not even an orignal mirror????

Not sure what you mean that it has the place for it. However, it is not the original mirror. The only mirror offered was a standard day night mirror.

front "of the truck" side I presume. You can probably find the harness and wire it up. I have a few mirrors like that laying around to do the same think with. Someone probably swapped it in and never hooked it up.
