I don't know if it's the nature of the beast or something wrong. I've only had this truck less than a week. When I come to a stop the truck kind of jerks back and forth when it stops. I don't know if that's the way it is or there's an issue with the brakes. I know the ole X didn't do it but that was much heavier.
By "jerking", do you mean the brake pedal pulsates and/or the steering wheel shakes ??? If that's what you mean by "jerking", then you most likely have one or more cracked, warped, or rotted brake rotors. Be a little more specific---where do you feel the "jerking" ?????
Might just be the normal bounciness in the suspension of a 3/4 ton truck, unloaded. Depends how much you are seeing. If it is just a slight bounce fore and aft, then it is probably the same thing I see. I have assumed it to be normal for a stiffly sprung truck, but I suppose it could be worn shocks (though I only have 40k on my 05 F250). But if you are talking severe jerks, then it is probably something to fix...

That's exactly it, moving fore and aft. I know it didn't do it on my 00 Scurge but that was a much heavier truck. I drive 3 other F-250's here at work but they are 2wd and they don't do it. Maybe it's just a thing with the new truck.
