engine mount question

Do the motor mount plates (the part that bolts to the actual block) have the same bolt pattern on a 400 and a 460?

The reason i am asking is because i was going to put a 460 in my 73 f-100 and bought the transdapt engine swap kit, but now i want to put the 400 in it. Wanting to know if they will bolt up to the 400 block or not.

Thanks.

Well thats good, and bad.... Good to know, and also good because i can use half of the kit atleast... Atleast i can just cut and weld a new part to mount to the 400 block then bolt thru on the adapt pedestals.

400's (and 351M's) never used those brackets, only 460's used them.

400 rubber mounts bolt directly to the block, 460 rubber mounts bolt to the two right/left specific plates which bolt to the block.

F Series: 1969/79 302's & 1977/79 351M/400's w/2WD use the same perches.
