Truck got a compliment...
So, i was going through the drivethrough, getting junk for lunch.
I had to shut off the truck to order, and when i went to pay, i shut off to confirm my order.
the guy confirms it, i pay, and right as i'm about to start it back up, he goes
"nice truck man, what year is it?"
I tell him 96, and thanks for the compliment
he asked about my exhaust system. I told him what it was, he told me he loved the whistle.
i said me too... he he
anyways, that made me extra proud of my truck... thought i'd share...

I had something similar the other day at McDonalds drive thru.......It was about a 19yo girl(very cute) asking me about the truck when I pulled up...her first question was "7 3 ?"....I was like "huh?????.....yup".......after a few minute conversation waiting for fries to cook....she ended up saying she was planning on going to school to become a diesel tech.......very cool...for a few minutes I wished I was 14 yrs younger and single,oh well

Which McDonalds was this..... I think a road trip may be in hand lol. Ya i got two compliments at a Dunkin Donuts about a week ago, and she was all dirty too. Makes me proud to own my 11 year old truck =) (my smiley buttons dont work for some reason???)

OBS are the best looking trucks out there IMO

OBS trucks are the best... Had a guy come up to me the other day in a parking lot, asked me what year my truck was... Told him iit was a 95. He said it looked better than most 05's... Made me feel good.

you have just about my favorite color combo along with mine....there is a reg cab 4wd with stacks down the road from me same color as yours......I bug him all the time wanting to know if he will sell it.

I seen a I guess you can call it teal/green combo that was sharp...I have only seen a few that combo......but the solid green and blue are sharp too......I am just done with dark colors after my black suburban and black '03 SD

Girls love the whistle!!!! Everytime one gets in the truck they sa something about it and I always have to make it do it when ever I can. For some reason I get less fuel mileage with girls in the truck LOL. They also like the "Blow off" sound (for those with out ICs it is a lot louder with the IC).

The sound of the air coming bak through the intake after you ar boosting then let off. It sounds like a blow off or waste gate. You can only really here it if you have an after market (6637) intake. Then when you put an intercooler on, it gets louder.
