2008 F250 V10 performance

Does anyone here possibly know how to improve the performance/mileage of a 2008 F250 with a V10? The things I would like to try are : cold air intake system/cat back system/ computer flash or chip . I have asked K&N directly about cold air intake for this truck . Their response was "it is in the works,however no date set yet" for their cold air system. For the cat back system, I just want one that allows flow and power without deafening the people in the truck lol. I have heard that superchips makes a computer programmer for this vehicle. Has anyone had experience with it? good?bad? Any recommendations?
I didnt realize that this was going to be as long as it has turned out to be. IF anyone has recommendations ..would you please be kind enough to include a part number so that I can reference that when I look at parts?

you will probably have the same luck as me.. none.
i been trying since buying my 08 sd w/5.4 for this kind of stuff with not much to work with. seems they must have really changed alot of things on the 08s. and the aftermarket companies are trying to play catch up..so we wait.....

Head down to the V10 forum. A few guys have a custom tune in their 3V V10 and I hear they LOVE it!

For an SCT tuner and a custom tune for your 08' contact www.5startuning.com. Even on 87 octane there are gains to be had. With a 93 octane tune the #s are impressive.

As for the intake I think you'll have to wait a little while. I'm shure all the sound deadening chambers in the 08'up gas intakes creates turbulance.
